About Rhodochrosite:

Rhodochrosite is a precious pink banded stone, and Argentina’s “national gemstone.” Colorado, our home state officially named rhodochrosite as its state mineral in 2002.

It is sometimes called “Rosa del Inca”, “Inca Rose” or Rosinca. It is typically a rose-red color, but specimens can be shades of pink to pale brown and streaks white.
